The travel industry & meThe first time I came in touch with the travel industry was in 2013 when I joined the Vienna Tourist Board – the official destination marketing agency for the city of Vienna – and took over the B2B marketing agenda for the USA, Great Britain, and India. In my role as marketing manager, I promoted Vienna to the travel industry by attending workshops and trade shows, holding presentations, and organizing Vienna-inspired events. I was also able to build a strong network consisting of great partners in Vienna and Austria as well as of travel advisors and tour operators in the Virtuoso and Signature Travel Networks amongst others. During numerous business trips I had the opportunity not only to travel to beautiful places all over the world, but also to meet to a lot of incredible and inspirational people in the tourism industry.
